In my work, as Paul Klee put it, there is a “devotion to small things” — frogs eggs that lace a pond, a drop of rain, the deep browns of a river bed, the way the wind kicks up and the gentle bending of a torso reaching for water. Each of these things find a place in my memory and informs my sculpture and installations.
